We use seasonal, local and ethically sourced food, showcasing the best that the Chew Valley and South West has to offer. We work closely with members of the local food community in order to provide the best service to our customers.

Meat, Game and Fish

We believe in keeping our food miles down, our sustainability high and animal welfare is a must and so we source our meat, both organic and free range from local farmers and butchers. If game is your bag, we work with our local game keeper for venison and birds and fish from Blagdon Lake. Any produce from the sea is certified sustainable seafood.


We have great producers and suppliers on our doorstep and we choose and pick our sources in line with the season and availability so we can source the best of the best. Depending on what is required and the size of the event we will buy wholesale from A. David and Sons, The Community Farm for our organics, our local farmers markets, our allotments and garden and when the opportunity arises we forage too.

Fine Foods and breads

Connecting and going to source for our specialist ingredients is always fun and we do it when we can. We produce most of our dishes from raw ingredients, but there are some things we leave to the experts including our breads, cheeses and charcuterie, many of which are within a 20-mile radius.
